    The microfiber towels are nice for removing waxes and Quick Detailer I think I have well over 100 at this point and its almost not enough when I do a detail. But for what he is doinf he needs the cutting ability of the Terry to polish the scratch out of the clear.

    The Terry cloth has more cut to it than the Microfiber or a foam applicator. It will take quite a bit of hard rubbing to remove the scratches but you can remove them.

    Its probably just the cut of the gears in the T-case. I can climb into any one of our big trucks with the same tranny and all of them sound different.

    Mine makes noise when its in four wheel drive. Every 4x4 I have ever owned has had some type of drive line noise when you engage the four wheel drive. Like Dave said some are worse than others.

    I also carry a 12/3 50ft extension cord with me when I travel in the winter so I can plug the truck in at my hotel or where ever I may be staying. I used to receive some really nasty looks before at hotels when I would start my truck at 5am and kick it up to high idle to warm it up.:lmao

    My truck is the same way if I don't plug it in at those temps but I find that if I cycle the glow plugs a couple times before I crank it over it seems to help.

    Weird Noise

    Mine does it when the EGR sticks and it usually happens at idle or very light throttle when taking off. I need to take the EGR out and clean it my self or have the dealer do it the next time its in for service.

    In my F150 I used to get 15.5 and that was with custom tunes, AF1 Intake, and exhaust and the best I ever got with the truck was 18.5 tailgating my friends semi from Engadine to Iron Mountain at 65MPH.:sly

    I miss mine every time I drive my wife's car or my dads Tahoe. I also find it a little embarrassing when I turn the key in my wife's car and put my seat belt on while waiting for the glow plug light to turn off and she asks me what I am waiting for.:doh:

    City I am getting 11-13 and on the Highway I am getting 15.5-16.5 and it's a 4.5 ton truck that I bought to tow a 10k 5er and I was after towing mileage and power more than anything else. As people have posted before the lift and tires are not helping you any and it also depends on how far down...

    All I know is that you have to lift the cab and front clip as a solid unit to get to the heads. There was a thread around here of some one doing it them self's and making a lift to lift the cab and all be danged but I cant find it.

    My truck is the same year as yours and with the stock exhaust I can hear a pretty good whistle while driving between 5 and 10 pounds of boost and I am trying to save up for my exhaust at the moment. It really has to do with the number of vanes on the turbo that causes that whistle and the 03-04...

    Mine was dong the same thing and it turns out my FICM decided to take a dump. If the check engine light is on I would go get it checked and its about an $800 repair at the dealer because I type this my truck is in a service bay getting fixed.
