    99 late or early

    is the hot side of the intercooler pipe wrapped in insulation? I heard that in 99.5 they wrapped the pipe because owners were complaining about 2 much turbo noise. Also the early 99 had the "wicked wheel" compressor wheel. ford did away with is in late 99. That's all i know. more...

    Tapping into Electrical Questions

    I don't know about the dash, but I ran a wore to the Air Intake heater solenoid, its a good key on source. Its the one right next to the fuel bowl, and closer to the grill. if you want the dash, check the electrical diagram in a Chiltons manual.

    i seem to have read in a thread awhile ago, that if you only have defrost in the cab, then you have a vacuum leak. check and see if its doing that.

    I was at Wally world this weekend to try the 2 cycle oil. All they had was Super Tech "Outboard" 2 cycle oil. Is that what all you guys are buying?

    CCV Mod

    well, rerouted the CCV. check another mod off the list. I was able to buy a 3 1/4"L x 4" od piece of PVC coupler for Menards and it worked perfect. I knock one mod off the list and now I have to add one ( cleaning intercooler), its a neverending process.

    started the CCV mod today. turns out a 3/4" PVC cap is too large, maybe a 1/2" cap will work. Another note, the port where the CCV goes into the intake track is facing toward the air filter. That seems to be backwards. As the air gets sucked through the filter it lookes like it would...

    OVERHEAD HANGER ON PLATINUMS

    My truck didn't come with clearance lights, so I uesd a friends superduty and took as many measurements as I could. Then i made a template out of construction paper. It worked out pretty good. You can also use the rear view mirror as a center point.

    12v key-on source

    2 guages (boost and pyro), 6 position chip led, 2 led lights and an arming switch for the methanol pump. The wires for all of these are between 16 ga and 22 ga.
