    Thank you for that explantion HOSS. That must have taken some time. Part of my 'PMS' is to buy a new Turbo. I'm leaning towards the High-Tech or the Turbonetics. Hoping to pick one up in the spring. Will that fix the problem?

    mine doesn't do it when I shift. just when its at higher boost. we I get a chance I will uplug the wastegate and see what happens. Bottom line, is it bad to unplug the wastegate?

    I have heard of bypassing the waste gate by unplugging the vacuum line going to it. Is bypassing it bad on the turbo or the truck. I'm getting a wicked flutter from the waste gate when it starts to open. It's really annoying.

    I was thinking about doing this mod? However, I have a 140hp TS Performance chip. Would shimming the FPR be redundant because of the chip? I talked to TS Performance and they said the chip does up the fuel pressure, but they did not specify if it was the the fuel pump or injection pump. any...

    OK, so if the TN, Indust. Inj, and the HTT are the same. Is there a better maker to go with. I don't plan on doing injectors, but maybe methanol later. I just basically want a faster spool and little or no turbo surge.

    Batteries/Alternator

    In the manual, the battery light means a charging problem. When mine came on, it was the Alternator. Have an auto parts store test 'em.

    I have read old posts and even the Tiki articles. In my understanding, there is no way to pack the wheels bearings. If the wheel bearings go bad, you have to replace the hub. Is this correct? Is there any preventative maintenece for them?

    The right off set is all you need to solve the leaf spring rubbing. I think it was a fluke that my Passenger side tire rubbed on the bumper. I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem.

    I have a 4" susp, I was looking for a few more inches (who isn't) but I could not find a body lift rated for diesels. Go with the susp lift. I had some tire clearance issues.
