    oK, thinking about putting a small lift on my truck... Thinking something small like a 2 or 3 inch lift.. Truck is 4x2 so this is 100% cosmetic... Any ideas of kits and such would be much appreciated :D

    fuel milege, engine longevity, no regenerations ( no extended periods of 1100 plus degree egt's) most people just get a delete pipe they are around 140 or so. on a recent trip i averaged 19.4 mpg across i40 from flag to arkansas. same trip w/dpf installed 15.8.

    high end salvage yards or go on ebay if there isn't one on ebay currently there will be i paid 350 for mine..... its definatly more than just a delete pipe but i do a lot of driving cross country type so wanted no problems.

    yes you will definatly need some programmer. Alot of people will tell you to go with spartan I have an edge that works good for me but your call there.they will more than likely look for it when you go for inspection so you just put it back on. The only thing left to worry about is surprise...

    there illegal everywhere its a federal law. Its bs but its the law. with that said unless you somehow get caught you will be very happy you pulled it. If you are worried find a used dpf at a junk yard and take a concrete chipper to the inside and hollow it out.

    ok got truck back from the dealership today they put 2 new batteries in and a new radiator hose freeee :D, however, in the print out it says that they performedtbc module test and c2087 was present. Any ideas? no one told me anything about it i just read it and wonder what it is?:dizzy

    Ok, so a few times now when i go to start my truck the message center flashes check brake system and truck won't really start it turns over and seems like it dies. turn key back and try to start again starts no problem every time and doesn't say anything about brakes.     What is this truck worth?

    think warranty would be out it would have been a 5 year 100000. As for the price if i were to buy think i would be shooting a little lower. maybe 18. I bought brand new 2008 crew cab 4x2 psd for 29k so 20 seems very close for a truck that is 5 years older with 59k miles. Just my 2 cents good luck :D

    cabin filter. the only difference to my knowledge from reg ac to max is that it recirculates the cabin air. So if norm ac works unless something is going on with electronics i would come to believe the only thing is could be is the cabin air filter.:sly

    well did it ever cool down? In my work truck max ac always blows hotter at first because it recirculates the air. So It sucks in the hot cab air and recirculates it to cool. Reg ac uses outside air which if it is that hot outside the cab is much hotter. Depending how old I know my work truck air...
