    i did change the filters and they were black after about 8k miles. but it starts but it starts different than normal. kinda fast and hard. i am going to drive it and see if it shuts down on me. i did have to have the fuse box replaced last year. but no codes or cel. or smoke.

    well plans might haved chaned over nite. I found another land cruiser on base that is cheap and the old lady loves it so we might just buy it and save me a trip back to va to pick up mine. When ever i get around to swapping out motors i am going to put a late model GM ls motor in it.

    have you checked the fuel reset on the passenger kick panel under the dash? check fuses. about 8 months ago my truck blew the interior fuse box. Dont know how or was it explained why.

    I am sure it can be done, i would go out and look at mine but its in the shop. I just did a cheap add-a-leaf and i gained about 2 and a half inches and now it dont hardly squat when i tow heavy loads and it dont ride any different.
