    Got tires force balanced

Albin you and Bushpilot are both right it all depends on what your comfortable using. Every wheel that is made has a lead weight that will attach to the rim ther are around six (or more) types of wheel weights too use. The problem comes from shops not being informed on their usage. My best...

    Problem with balancing tires?

If I remember correctly on bfg's the white dot lines up with the valve stem. BFG'S are some of the easiest tires there are to balance. The problem you are having seems to be with the way they are coning them up on the balancer. I'm not sure if the 05 wheels are hubcentric or not but if they...

2002 w/7.3, Superchip wanting to improve fuel economy

Yeah that is called the zoodad mod. You cut a hole in the header panel right in front of the air box tube. Then you can fashion up some ducting to connect the headerpanel to the air box tube, or just put a piece of small wire mess over the hole and be done with it (what I did). The whole idea...

    ball joints!!

Since yours is 4X4 you have to use the 90 deg, you can't use the straight one. Some guys grind a little on the fittings to keep them from hitting the axle u-joints. The autozone ones seem to have just enough clearance in them that they fit fine. Most times the knuckle seal is bad and if you...

Looks great. I may have to to get my brother to do mine. I would do it but he seems to have better luck doing the tedious stuff, and since I have done most of the remodel on his first house he kind of owes me.

Yeah Bama I was kind of thinking about going to lookout mt. or kennesaw mt. again sometime this year. I haven't been to lookout since the mid 80's when we lived in cleveland Tn. Whatever you guys decide I will try to make, and will probably have the gooseneck with me.

    ball joints!!

I would suggest getting a knuckle seal and an axle seal (oil seal). The knuckle seal is kind of a pain but can be done fairly easy if you have an old hub bearing (wheel bearing). You will probably have to get them from Ford. A knuckle seal tool runs $100. Yes autozone has the greaseable...

    ball joints!!

The balljoints take about 2 hrs. a side for your first time. What axle nut socket once you get the hub off you use snap ring pliers and then are able to take the wheel bearing off. Just about everything can be gotten with a 13/16 socket. If I remember correctly the only thing that doesn't are...
