Introduction and already the first problem
thats a nice looking truck you have there. i was in augsburg, germany a few months ago.during the whole week i was there i only saw one 2 wheel drive chevy pickup. ill bet your truck really gets a lot of attention among all those tiny little smart cars and such. -marty- martyfowler

Infamous Power Steering Hose
the fitting on the pump end of the hose needs 10 to 20 ft/lbs of torque. im not sure on the gearbox fitting. ive owned this truck for 5 years now and never had a problem with the power steering cap or hose. i came across a thread the other day about the issues with the hose, and it got me...- martyfowler

Power Steering Hose
i had to replace my pressure side line yesterday. according to the directions that came with the new line, the fitting is designed to be able to swivel even after it is tightened. play in the line is normal as long as its not leaking. -marty- martyfowler
