    PCM Recall

Trucks going into limp mode constanly because a sensor reads 3 degrees too high, driveability issues, etc. I can't post a link here because the info is from another forum.

    PCM Recall

This reflash is for all 6.4's regardless of year or build date. I'm holding off on having mine done, I have heard A LOT of bad stories about this flash.

    Vehicle Height

16" wheels haven't been available since 2004 model year. In 2005 Ford switched to 17" wheels standard on F250's and 18" wheels standard on single rear wheel F350's. 20" wheels are an option on both.

Question The air dam under the front bumper

Huh? Have you seen the 2 side by side? They look nowhere near the same. The 2011 has driving lights cut into the bumper.

Question The air dam under the front bumper

I don't know actual figures, when the 6.4 first came out, customer's complained about the fuel mileage so much, the bigger air dam was Ford's answer.

Question The air dam under the front bumper

You should be able to see the longer air dam on my truck here.

Question The air dam under the front bumper

I'm assuming you have the shorter air dam and want the longer one? If you were closer, I'd trade you mine! I'm considering cutting mine down to the shorter version because it looks better!

Question The air dam under the front bumper

The longer air dam actually started in late 08. I can't remember if it was a Job 2 or Job 3 change. It was done to improve fuel mileage.

    Question Largest Tire F250 4x4 2009

You can fit a 33x 12.50 no problem. Go with a 2" Leveling kit and F350 rear blocks and 35x13.50's will fit on stock wheels. I have an F350 with a 2.5" Leveling kit. I have 35x13.50x20" Nitto Terra Grapplers on my stock 20" wheels for winter. No rubbing whatsoever.

Question too much oil on dip stick

No Problem, thats why we're here!;tu I think if I were you, I would change the oil change interval to 7500 and send a sample to Blackstone Labs for testing. If the fuel is still high, go to 5000 miles. I stick to 3000 miles because my truck sits for extended periods of time, and like I said...

Question too much oil on dip stick

I would be VERY worried if I DIDN'T get 15 quarts! 15 Qts is the correct amount of oil for a 6.4:doh:

    Job #

2009 only had 2 Jobs. Job 2 added Sync, I have a window sticker to prove it.

Question too much oil on dip stick

Doug, I've had a 6.0, you couldn't give me 10 of them for my 6.4! No oil leaks, no turbo vanes getting stuck constantly. I can deal with the worse fuel economy, at least this 6.4 isn't at the Ford Dealer every 6 months like my 6.0 was.

Question too much oil on dip stick

The original post is proof enough that 10,000 miles is too long. These DPF motors are proven to dilute the oil with fuel. I don't see motor oil getting to $40-50/gallon anytime soon. I still say oil's cheaper than a motor.

Intruder Killed With Pink .38 Special

Thats AWESOME! Good Riddance to the scum bag career criminal! I LOVE hearing stories that end with the criminal on a slab, instead of in a comfy jail cell with us paying for the rest of his miserable life.
