    You can't fool the sensors. You need the sensors out of your factory wheels, or buy another set to install in your new wheels.

    Yeah, we're probably referring to the same part. In the installation instructions for my Western, they referred to it as a "Blocker Beam". I believe it is there in case you got into a collision with a low car, you won't just ride up over them and basically kill everybody in the car.

    2009 F350 On Order

    Just heard from the dealer, the computer accepted the order this morning. I cancelled the Chrome package, (didn't like the grille or steps), and I cancelled the Outline white letter tires. It should be here in about 2 months. Now I have to convince the wife I NEED a lift and a few other mods....:sly

    You'll get a bunch of opinions on this, along with the obligatory Amsoil commercial, but I always, always, ALWAYS, use Motorcraft filters, available at Wally World for about $17, and either Rotella 15/40 or Motorcraft 15/40.

    It should fit no problem, the only possible difference is your truck will have the Blocker Beam behind the front bumper, where your brothers truck probably doesn't.
