    on my 01 it was a 30 amp fuse under the hood, bout middle of the box -- check your owner manual and it will tel lyou exactly where... mine was missing the fuse - installed it and boom, everything worked...

    get one that is under warranty and drive the piss out of it till the HG go or you stretch the studs -- then buy some ARP's and have Ford do the work under warranty.. :) I'd buy the right 6.0 in a heartbeat -- lots of great running 6.0's and they run very well even stock!

    I actually got it free -- its got some blemishes (busted and a crack) but its behind the grill guard, so you can't see it - I got it from a buddy of mine who had it on his 04 but then did the 05-07 conversion... :D otherwise I would ahad to buy one off of ebay or a used parts reseller...
