    yes, the LPOP feeds the HPOP. if you are not pushing low pressure oil to the HPOP, same effect I would think. 2900 for new injectors sounds a 'bit' on the high side. get a second opinion. as far as limping on the HPOP home, i dunno. could you be suffering from a bad injector o-ring too?

    I have that one too. it starts the truck just fine being cold soaked at -5 for a few days WITHOUT being plugged in at all but running syn 5w oil.

    i REALLY like my filter i can not say enough good about the Racor unit. i'd say close to 80k on it now. I have kept it stock. anytime i have serviced it, the media looks good. the filter minder seems to work well. i have not changed the filter yet, i will probably just for good measure...

    get a walker BTM. straight through glasspack style. looks like a muffler. withing 1/4" of exact length to delete stock muffler.

    the seals will NOT go bad due to USLD. they were spec'd for bioD. Why would you think that USLD would eat them. you guys sound like a bunch of old women.

    WAG is a blown injector oring or bad injector. its really easy to pull the injectors and check them. if they are pushing a new motor, i would check around for anther shop.

    the fuel drain orings leak do not leak because of USLD. they leaked before that fuel went to market. be careful what you hear and what you believe.

    poke about for the CPS info in the 7.3 forum. the EBPV is electrically controlled. the tube that is connected to it gets plugged. all gremlins will trigger it. one step at a time.

    one step at a time. 1. start off with basic diagnostic techniques. 2. you mean the Exhaust Back Pressure control? Search for EBPV here and you will learn much about the valve. could be the tube is plugged. its cleanable.

    they probably built the trucks overseas too. remember that brazil is a bit of a wild west town. there used to be the 7.3 service manual online from brazil but its since disappeared. they also have a 4 banger 'powerstroke' motor down there too. its been a while since we jabbered about this.

    Stroked68- remember that the overseas market does not get what we get here. and vice versa, we a fraction comparatively of what they make elsewhere. i for one would seriously consider a TDI focus if they actually brought it here. or a diesel ranger.
