    correction...IIRC he used an impact and hit the nut a couple of times with it to loosen it. Nothing used to keep the wheel from spinning.

    Strictly personal prefference. IMO...I like a nice open exhaust. But some dont like the noise...I do. Also you might want to take into consideration of emissions tests in your area and laws concerning modified exhaust. I'm just traveling down the road flirting with disaster.

    Their was even talk down here about writing tickets for people riding the left lane. As much as I can't stand people that do that....kinda extreme. Cops can have a laptop pulled up and messing with it going down the road, but you better not have a phone stuck in your ear:rolleyes:

    Sounds good to me. Try having the batteries load tested. Did you try crossing out the solenoid?

    Try crossing out the solenoid with the key in the on position. If it starts, then probably the solenoid again. I would check the wiring connections before I replace parts.

    My dad has an excursion V10 and my uncle has a F350 V10. You need a dedicated gas station to pull behind it. And the passing power....doesn't really feel like that "kick" you feel with a 7.3. It revs up high and feels like its barely pulling. I couldn't imagine getting away from a 7.3...or...

    I'm not trying to stack chips. I was trying to make it to where I have 6 more tunes to choose from. Unless I'm mistaken, you can't stack chip's on a powerstroke....at one time on the pcm.

    Waste gate maybe :dunno You can rig up something, air tight, on the intake and put an air quick connect on it....and IIRC you put 5psi into it and listen for air seeping. I seen a kit online before...but you could probably get everything at Ace.
