    Actually, it is referred to as a Tymar because Dale Tymar was one of the first to sell them. His name just got associated with it as the generic reference. His are reasonably priced but I don't remember exactly how much. Maybe around $125 but it's been too long since I bought mine to remember.

    I suspect that would be wishful thinking. The oil is in vapor form so probably won't make much, if any, difference. Can't hurt to try though. Clean the intercooler boots really well first and see if it comes back.

    HP Crossover hose

    I did it. I like it too. Quieter and evens pressure. Get one for your obs from Dale at the Tymar link in my sig line. The obs process is slightly different than the SD. You have to relocate one plug before you install the line. Dale has SS braided line and the whole kit for around $40.

    Well, 250$ and 2 hours later, it's fixed. It was the starter. Both batts tested good and now it cranks immediately with no more shriek. You are right dpan, it is a heavy little bastard. All gears were good but I suppose 12 years and 114k was its lifespan. Thanks for the inputs.
