    Question 6.0 coolant temp???

Yeah but the cooling system on these trucks was designed to counteract the flash heating of the coolant by the egr system and with it eliminated and not heating the coolant that extra little bit the t-stat never gets to open. I say find a different thermostat someone out there has had this...

    Question 6.0 coolant temp???

My truck with EGR runs around 180-190 depending on ambient temp and if towing is right around 195-205 if that helps. Ok I just went and read your other post is it possible that the wow factor from all the extra new found power hasn't worn off yet?

Read This.... What do you think...

He's not talking about a regular 10w30 he's talking about the 10w30s that are rated for diesel engines. 15w40 used to be the only option we had now the newer trucks run 5w30 or 10w30 that being said run what your particular truck is rated for it's that way for a reason just like a gasoline...

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

Well I guess some of the dealerships pay them based on book time and that's all they get paid for. So apparently replacing parts is the way they continue to get paid for not fixing the problem. Either way I'm not paying them for anything until it's fixed.

just lost my 2nd torque converter in 45k

Yeah it definitely sounds like gear problems. Does the tranny have 294k? If it does then it's time for a rebuild because the fact that planetaries lasted that long is shocking.

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

Yep still happening after the wife picked up so I got a new FICM under the emissions warranty free of charge. I swear if this is sticking vanes I want to bash that tech over the head with a tire iron. He says he can't hear it I'm not sure how that is when the sound is followed by a stumble at...

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

Right I know it has nothing to do with the turbo but could it have been causing the stumbling and the surging which is what was happening? I should have been more clear on what I was asking.:sorry

    Cool Duals

I guess 05 and up must have more room on the firewall because I had no problem fitting my downpipe in of course we had it on a friends 12k lift too maybe that was part of it.:D

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

Ok haven't picked the truck up yet but they ended up replacing the FICM. Could this potentially have been causing the symptoms similar to sticking vanes?:dunno

    coolant leakage

Talked to a fleet mechanic who has changed several and the core support is to stiff so when the frame flexes it blows the seams on the end of the radiator I forget how he said he fixes it. Just replacing the radiator doesn't fix the actual issue and this is one of the reasons he doesn't work at...

    Loosing Acceleration Completely

I had this problem but the truck wouldn't even be drivable. It would do nothing if you floored it and then uncontrollably brakes and all would try to rocket out from under you. It's actually quite the scary feeling kinda like driving a newer toyota.:lmao It wasn't so funny however when I had to...

    Help Needed speaker question

Fords not the only one that uses 6x8s and there's enough room in the front door to use a spacer ring to make the 6x9 basket fit in the 6x8 hole. We did it all the time when I was installing car a/v.

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

I've used the stanadyne additive which is the only one recommended by all three manufacturers because they make alot of the injectors. Mine's been cleaned before and it's covered under my extended warranty not the manufacturers so the fact that it's been serviced before I'm going to push that it...

Passing up on Ford b/c of body removal???

I just learned that they also plan on offering front and rear locking differentials like the Jeep Rubicon for someone like me who drives out on the sand dunes that's a huge selling point. Also with the amount of money they lost on warranty repair work on the 6.0/6.4 both made by International...

    Oil collecting before turbo impeller

Ok I had my truck at the dealership for some other issues and the tech blamed the loud flapping air noise solely on my aftermarket air filter. So when I got home I put the stock one back on but noticed a pool of oil sitting in the turbo. I know that tube that people have talked about rerouting...

    Turbo

Ok got it back yesterday the exhaust manifold was leaking the cam sensor oring was leaking oil and he claimed the aftermarket air intake was causing the flapping air noise though it just started a week ago and it's been on there for 35k. So I put the stock one back on and what do you know it's...

You should be covered by the warranty depending on the original delivery date my 05 powertrain is up in Nov. of this year. 2006 f250 2wd leveling kit

Do you have a coil springs in the front? If so they should be the same coils and I would think that all the spacers would work just fine. As far as tire size goes do you plan on going with the stock wheel or an aftermarket?
