Question What did you do to your truck today?

Since it's pouring rain I decided to wipe down the exterior of the truck with a cloth and some Simple Green and let the rain water rinse it clean. That's the best product to remove WVO and diesel stains around my filler neck doors.

It never rains in California in May

What an unusual and unseasonal downpour we're having. It never rains in California in May. Well that's what "they" say but obviously they're wrong. Not enough to make a difference with our drought but definitely enough to put a damper on the next few days.

    Rancho Shocks/Steering Stabilizer

I've used Rancho and Edelbrock IAS shocks but they didn't last as long as my current Bilsteins. As far as the steering stabilizer, my Rancho is holding up fine after 6 years.

Question What did you do to your truck today?

Siphoned out my rear tank then filtered it and poured it into my front vegoil tank then put fresh B20 in rear tank. Over time my rear tank gets cross contamination of vegoil from the return line. Now I'm clean again. Then on another note I changed the oil in the Mercedes then drove it to the...

    rant Turbo leaking oil

So you cleaned up any oil stain and put JB Weld on the rod while it was still installed? To do it properly and plug the hole the turbo needs to be removed? How many hours should that take? I've never removed my turbo and don't plan on doing it myself. Paying to remove it for this leak seems like...

    rant Turbo leaking oil

There is a fresh oil stain on the EBPV rod coming from the pedestal as well as on two pedestal feet. The rod has been disconnected and wired open. Turbo spools just fine and boost maximum is 15 psi. I'm thinking of doing nothing more than spraying some brake cleaner to clean up the stain. Truck...

Question What did you do to your truck today?

I was tired of a dusty cab. I blew out the dust with an electric leaf blower and an air compressor. This was beyond a shop-vac's duty. I slapped my seat and a huge puff of dust would rise. BAM! Out the door. Slap again. BAM! Out the door. Get the picture? :D Then under my 40-20-40 and the cab...
