    Newbie question about four wheel drive

    Yes with manual hubs you have to physically get out of your truck and flip both hubs but the up side is manual hubs are more durable than those with a switch to shift the hubs into 4WD on the fly. The interior switch you have engages the transfer case but not the hubs. IMO manual hubs are better.

    Well, after seven years of an intermittent battery light coming on I secured the single wire on top of the alternator which connects the stator by replacing the loose clip. Finally the flickering has stopped once and for all. No more wiggling wire! :sweet Should have done this years ago. :rolleyes:

    Don't forget a chip with a NO START setting. ;tu MiamiPSD I lived there in the late-80s and had a 1985 BMW 735 L7 stolen in South Miami. Mine was never found but I did have full coverage.

    Sounds like the lift pump (low pressure side) of your fuel pump is not sucking fuel up from the tank fast enough to keep up with the high pressure side. That's why the fuel bowl is half full. Is there a wet spot under the fuel pump? Is it weeping at the crimp on top of the pump? Another issue...
