    Well coming off the driest spring on record and going through a really hot heat spell...yup it's tinderbox dry. BTW we NEVER get rain during the summer so it will be bone dry here until November.

    The winds changed and it's smoky once again. :rant These two photos are of each ridge east and west of me. They don't do justice to the smoke on the valley floor but do show one ridge line faintly and one not at all. :cough: (We need a cough smilie) At least it's relatively cool 81.8*F now...

    Still taste the smoky haze. The wildfire was caused by dry lightening strikes in Napa county. Did anyone see the NASCAR race yesterday on TNT at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma? That's sorta near me. You could see the haze in the distance when their cameras panned the area.

    What about an electric on demand water heater? Or better yet the propane model? Pricey heaters but the energy savings add up VERY quickly.

    Mine were done differently. All bushings on driver's side (front, mid & rear) were done together then the passenger side was done together. That meant jacking up one side of the cab at a time. Different ways to skin a cat.
