    Best Lift Kit?

I was not insinuating that the lift kits were trial and error systems designed and built by uncle bobs coat factory. I was looking for information on the cause and effect from someone who knows how these systems work. the sky site said it RECCOMENDS this and therefore means it is not a...

    Best Lift Kit?

i have a RSK + flip shackle to give me 5" front & 4.5" rear, sky recommends "no modifications are needed to correct pinion angle if only the flip kit is used. On long wheel base vehicles, using factory blocks, we recommend a 4 inch lift block with a 4 degree taper replace the factory blocks, in...

    shock mount drop

all the angles will remain aside from the amount the mount is sticking out from the truck. it will bring the shock in about 1.5" closer to the truck at the top. I'll look into superlifts mounts and see if they are basicly the same as if the stock were cut down.

    shock mount drop

anyone see any issues with cutting a 4" section out of the front shock mounts and rewelding them as oppose to buying 5" lift shocks? the mounts are bolted on and it'd be pretty easy to cut them down.
