    I flushed it really good when I added new coolant. my thermosat housing was really rusty and gunked up . I'm ordering filter tonite or tomorrow. also bypassed the heayter core ...wow that makes a difference in air conditioning temp.

    question about regulated return mod

    does this mod completely bypass the stock fpr or if I want to run a fuel pressure guage to my cab do I need a completely separate regulater to boost incoming pressure? I know this is probly a dumb question but I'm confused as to wether this mod boosts incoming . or just evens out the pressure...

    try putting 2 degree shim between the axle perch and factory block, if you still get vibrabration try a 4 degree shim . gotta play with it . i shimed my carrier down 1" and used 2 dgree shims on the axle and now she takes off smooth as butter

    I was going along on the highway at about 70 ,egt's about 700, and all the sudden the truck felt like it was pulling a 20,000 trailer for about 5 seconds then it would feel like it had all the power in the world. did this to me about 5 or 6 times. Idrive about 80 round trip a day to work...

    got a van here in a local yard if some one is looking for parst or a core for anything motor is complete. the yard is cheap , paid 30 bucks for 2 piece drive shaft yesertday. I can go get the parts and ship them ( gives me an excuse to go crawl and get greasey:D )

    I had blocks in rear and add-a-leafs upfront to get a total of 2" (a homade leveling kit) the blocks tended to let the axle wrap up wicked bad due to factory blocks, so i ditched them and went with a 6' procomp system , they are very good .     3.73 is standard but 4.10 is an option .mine was ordered 4.10. only way to know is by reading axle code or doing the math.

    my cps took a crap the same way on a dark country road at 12am last fall with no cell service . it was long walk (now have extra in glovebox) .Now if i can only figure out how to get an extra tranny in that glove box we could be doing something
