Hopefully, winter is done and spring is here to stay.
When I was

the driveway after the last storm, I was about 95% done, and the snowblower on my garden tractor went:
BANG!!!!!!!!
My first thought was "This can't be good.

Snowblowers ain't supposed to make that sound."
While the motor stayed running, snow stopped coming out of the discharge chute. I turned it off and dismounted the beast. I looked underneath and found the drivebelt snapped like a cheap rubber band. Realizing I was done for the day, I drove it into the garage and turned it off. I took the cover off the chain drive and the chain was off the big sprocket and jammed hard between the sprocket and blower housing. I'm going to have to take the whole blower unit off the tractor, and tip it up on end just to get in there to beat the chain loose and get it out.
So hopefully it will be done

for the year so I won't have to put it back on when I figure out what happened & why. I can just put the mower unit on for the summer.
