Got a couple of noob questions about upgrading 6.0..

FYI... the factory tranny gauge is more of a light then a gauge... once it goes off (moves) its too late.


Thanks for the link! The pyrometer, is that the EGT? Sorry if it's a dumb question, like I said, new to diesels. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the EGT gauge since I'm about to get the exhaust and air intake, the SCT won't be far behind.

I love the night picture of all your gauges, it looks like you have to file a flight plan to drive anywhere! :roflmao

The factory transmission gauge in my truck does the exact same thing but they do start to move when over 190 degree's according to my autometer gauge. At least mine started to move when I corked my stock trans. So basicly when the stock guage starts to move the transmission is already overheating and the damage is done.
