Is there only one fuel filter installed on a 2000 F-250 PSD? The only one I know of is the one under the hood on top of the engine. Is there a screen or prefilter anywhere? I'm changing my fuel pump this afternoon and I want to change filters also.

The one fuel filter on the engine is the Only filter.. No screens... unless someone has added another.
If it has an additional filter, it would most likely be under the cab.. in-line, before the pump, on the driver side.

On edit: there is an internal screen.. on the "Duckbill" fuel pick up tube, down inside the fuel tank. Change out the filter on the engine First. See if that makes any diff ?
