Stephen i agree...long lasting and fairly problem free...shouldnt EVER
warp...but no ones gonna be happy to turn 'em...some may refuse.

When its my turn ill probably go Penny-Wise, Pound-Foolish....i figure
ill buy a 2nd set of rotors & alternate 'em/turn 'em...

im glad to see that autozone hasnt stop selling "lifetime warrenty" brake
pads :D even those ones worn to the metal backing could have been
turned in for a replacement pair <@ no charge>...

auto zone might not be the cheapest but they keep all your info in
the computer...so you dont have to keep a receipt for warrenty parts...
just take the stuff in, give 'em your name & the parts are replaced...and
youre out the door.

...........We have a problem.

Rips me that I let this happen. I take care of my equipment better than this. Don't recall ever hearing the squellers until today when I heard the grinding.

Tbar
Same damn thing happened to me Lance, never heard a single squeal then one day I had the grind!

My pads looked just like that. I was embarrassed.

They are WAY too large OD and will not fit. -mad

I had the parts guy check and double check the application before I left!!!

Will have to take them back for exchange tomorrow.

Well.............I am batting a 1000.

Put on the replacement rotors tonight and the offset is wrong. They dragged on the inside edge of the caliper and I distroyed both of them before I figured it out.

I am begining to hate NAPA!!! -mad

Hey Tbar I have an extra used rear rotor in the garage just let me know I'll meet you and give it to you for FREE! Mom's truck had a piston seize after her pads went bad like yours so went to ford and bought new rotors, calipers, pads for both rears. Only one rotor was bad but we bought a kit and it had all the pieces for a rear set.
Good Luck
call me if you need the rotor (214)577-9976 at least that way you only have to spend for one rotor

Returned rotors to NAPA.

Went to Autozone and was lucky to get a smart counter guy. He went through all the steps NAPA went through pulling rotors off the shelf that were supposed to fit but didn't.

He finally decided to pull all the possibe rotors he had for F250's & F350's.

The one that finally matched was for a DRW truck. I have no idea what that has to do with the front rotors but it worked. Guess I have a truck built on Monday after a looong holiday weekend....................lol.
