wheel swaping question

i was told that 8 lug wheels from a hummer will fit on my 00 f350 4x4, also he said i need to grind out the centers for the rear a little , will that weaken the wheels??????

I believe that the hummers run an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern and your ford has an 8 on 170mm (metric) bolt pattern therefore they will not work. They should work on 98 and earlier ford pickups though.
