I am just heated up -mad , drove by a gas station today and saw diesel at $2.53 / gal. For one thing diesel should be cheaper the regular unleaded not .20 cents more then premium gas.

I just can't stand the the oil companies making BILLION's of $$$$ a 1/4 and saying that they are barely making it.

There is an editorial in the front of Diesel Power magazine about this, part of the problem is the demand for diesel has risen faster globally than ever and another part of the problem is that the demand for diesel in China has gone through the roof. The Eruopean refiners are shipping more diesel their because the Chinese are paying more money for the diesel than everyone else. That makes the European market for diesel more profitable for American companies so they are shipping diesel from refineries here to Europe. That leaves us here S O L :guns: :censored:

Ours jumped from $2.34 to $2.53 in two days, no hurricane here.

Just talked to my Father-in-law in Ft. Walton Bch and they are getting ready as well, says gas lines are long. But they are staying there. They have a cement room they added onto their house.

I had heard that China was buying up all the reserves it could, and since the American oil companies own most of them they were selling to the highest bidder--China. -mad

And they leave us little guys paying high prices. -mad

Yup, except the 76 on Broadway near the high school was at $2.65 today. The Chevron on Imola Ave near the bridge? Time for an In 'N Out burger...:D

No. The Chevron on Trancas by Soscal. They are almost always cheaper than any place in the Valley.
