.. 1st week in June, to spend a week in the Sierra's at Shaver Lake. 6 Buddies, 2 Boats, Much Beer, Campfires, All food from cans, Paper-plates'n plastic dinner-ware, Much Beer, Barbi'd fish over the campfire. Lots'a BS'n Whilst Beer'n.
Took the boat up yesterday, caught 4 Trout'n 6 Kokanee, in 3 hours
. Take the 5r up tomorrow. Come back Friday.... that way.. NO PWCs, J-boats.. School ain't out yet. (Sometimes we're the Only boats on the lake.. 'til noon'ish.)
At times, Life is a Real Beer (meant Bear).. but you just halfta hunker down'n do what hasta be done.

OBTW ? On the way up there's an 8 mile 6% (plus in places) Grade (Toll House grade). 20' Pontoon in tow.. 3 Fat Guyz in the Cab..Stuck the 'ol PSD in 5th, set the CC at 2400 RPM.. Went up the hill. Sack'd 2 Dodge's & 3 Chevy's, pull'n boats, on the way.
