i got a 4 inch lift on my truck, and both upper ball joints are the adjustable ones, they have some kind of castle type nuts interlocking with each other and i cant get them apart, any ideas, and also when im driving staight the wheels look perfectly straight, but when i back up ,the top of both tires seem to collapse in ,its embarrasing, they only look like that when i back up,its weird,so thats why i was tryin to adjust it,can anyone help

thats all normal, F250s all do thatif they have the ttb front end and as for the ball joints my f250 and 350 have them. as for the tires tipping out hwen you back up about the only thing you can do is get rid of that junk frontend and put a dana 60 solid axel, (1500$) that'll fix you right up

Ps if you really want to mess with those ball joints loosen the nut till it is flush or a little higher thent he end of the ball joint stud and take a air chisel with a hammer attatchment in it and give it a few wraps then it should shake it loose, the it should be able to be turned with a ratchet and a regular screw driver attacchment. Hope this helps Lee

I have the junk front end and mine doesn't tilt weird in reverse in fact other than doing the add-a-leaf to fix the sag it's never been a problem.

IIRC it has to do woth the amount of toe in you have and how good of shape you suspensions are in. if you have alot of toe in it will drag the tirees out when you back up, Maybe have it aligned and bushings checks. still like the idea of a D60 instead, just my 2 cents
