My "Water in Fuel" light came on this AM on my way to work. It comes on and goes off periodically. I have almost a full tank of fuel that is 40% "Veggie Blend" (veggie and diesel) and 60% market diesel.

What is te fix for this? Is there an additive available that i can dump into the tank?

I plan to go out of town tonight with the truck to Houston (approx 365 miles) and would like to have some assurance that all will be fine. I have an extra fuel bowl filter in the truck just in case.

TIA

You can drain the filter housing and see if the light goes off. When I got a bad load of #2 it went off for 30 miles or so then would come back on. I changed the filter and cleaned all the sludge out of the bottom of the filter bowl. Light came back on in 100 miles. Then I ended up dropping the tank and ditching the bad fuel.

I overdosed with Fuel Power from FPPF that was readily available when I changed the filter and cleaned the bowl. Helped a little I think. FPPF makes a marine formula that totally disperses water. Maybe you can find it in Houston since the person that told me about it is from Houston.

Or order it here....http://shop.torresen.com/ships_stor...tion=product&gclid=CMbtk8bx2ogCFSAeWAodIHiBoQ
