Been smelling something like a hot tar roofing smell when I used the A/C in Vent mode. At first, I thought I had a oil leak from the WW install. Looked around and did not find one, so I crawled up under the front and noticed that I had a lot of moisture and oil around the front crossmember of the frame under the fuel drain tube. I connected a clear tube onto the drain and circled it several times and zip tied it to the frame. After several days it was full of fuel and the smell had gone away. One point is that it didn't leave a drip spot on the drive but still leaked.

So, this weekend I purhased Ford: F81Z-9A153-AA it is the whole yellow valve. Today I discovered that you can replace just the the O-rings. But I would rather feel $50 safer when it is a fuel leak! Wasn't to bad install, did it on the truck with a ratchet and a torx bit. Took my slow ratcheting hands 1-2 hours in 100 heat.

I am curious if it sucks air into the system under full throttle when you have this leaking.

Thanks

The fuel bowl is pressurized so I wouldn't think it will draw air.
