A Legislator in SOCAL has a "Rider" on a bill coming up for review that will exspand the NO SMOKE'N laws to include: Any Beach areas, State Parks or in any motor vehicle with more that 3 kids in it......( I guess 1 or 2 kids is okay)

She survived some sort of lung disorder.

Purdy sad when >ONE< radical politition, that survived ANYTHING can sneak a "Rider" on to a piece of Legislation.. that will effect MILLIONS... in relation to whatever they survived.

JMO but it might be time to pass a Federal Law that sez: If you've Survived or Conquered ANYTHING.. You Cant hold a political office.

The folks in Nevada, Oregon and Washington state don't like us Caly folks cuz our "For the Betterment of mankind" laws are bleeding over into thier states. Mom & Pop business'z er going under.

No offense to any California people, but I can't stand your state. I was there on vacation and can't think of one good thing to say about it. Too many people. With a state that has so many locos, there will be stupid laws.

No harm nor foul. I hear ya. I'd move from here but where I live it's not so bad cuz it's ALL Farm/Ranch country.. You'd never know you were in the vacation parts. But "That" part bleeds over, with their stupid laws.

I think the best part in California is Napa Valley. It is neat to see all the rows of grapes. Otherwise southern California sucked.

North of Red Bluff, California is a different place. My wife and I grew up in So. Cal. and we moved north in 1974. The only time we go south is to a funeral for one of our friends or family down there. We head north just as soon and as fast as we can. Actually the state gets better just north of Sacramento. The rules and laws affect all the people in the state, and it is getting worse all the time. It is really sad to see it in such a mess. Californians vote for these wacko's so we deserve what we get. Al Gore and the Kennedy's would fit right in, in San Francisco. Soooo,,, because there are millions of people in L.A. and Frisco, common sense is doomed. Be glad that most of the middle part of America still believes in God, baseball and apple pie.
The west coast believes in welfare, gangs, and taco's.

By and large, you are correct about all of the idiots here in California. There are a bunch of politicians here that want more and will use anything to promote their cause. I say ship them out of COUNTRY, say to Cuba??

I spent two years in Southern California while I was in the military. Big Bear was the only saving grace about the place, along with San Diego. But the rest you can keep. High cost of living, air that you can see, the ground that moves under your feet, and the gangs that were moving into the town I lived in made it less desirable than some of the garden spots Uncle Sam sent me to before that assignment.

Happiness was truly seeing the "Welcome to California" sign in my REAR VIEW mirror.

I hear ya. My previous quote was "I couldn't say one thing good about California" I was wrong. I took a tour of the bay in San Diego and say all the military equipment. Neat to see battleships, and aircraft carriers. As soon as you hit shore run for the car and loch the doors. I cut our trip short to get out of there and go back to work.
