Another legend has passed. Walter Cronkite passed away today at 92. We all remember his legendary broadcasts. He was always portrayed the "grandfatherly" image. RIP Mr. Cronkite. "And that's the way it is..... Friday July 17, 2009."

Walter Cronkite will be missed. He was one of the few news reporters you knew you could trust to tell the truth with no spin and no "slant".

I find it somewhat ironic that he passed away on the 40th anniversary of the news event I remember him the most for. That being the Apollo 11 landing on the moon.

Sadly, too many reporters have tried and failed to meet the standard he set.
