Question Turbo

I'am wondering if anybody is running the Garrett GTP38r Turbo on the truck. And how much difference did it make .

irregardless, I personally think the only time I'd justify a turbo upgrade is if the factory one takes a dump..

I am running one. It cleaned up my hot chip programs on stock injectors and does a good job with the stage 2s. It does spool a little faster than the stocker and is much louder. I only saw a 50* drop in egt average. Most noticeable for me was pulling the passes when I lived in WA. If your stock turbo is going this is a good replacement that will let you add some fuel in the future.

thanks for all the input my stock turbo has 154000 miles on it now it still pull's 24 lbs boost but i was just thinking swaping it out this summer because i going to have tony wildman reburn my ts chip.

i love mine...i had a moded stocker with my stage 2's..when i droped in the 38R it dropped my EGT's about 150* faster spool up with less smoke and more go with this turbo...
