With the warmer weather coming, and me driving the truck more, I have been thinking of a shutdown monitor. I have been looking at three on the market. Read what I could, but wanted the opinions of those here.

ISSPRO Turbo Temp Monitor Temp based off of thermocouple, adjustable, but wants it to be post turbo. Why?

Diesel Turbo Lifesaver Time based, adjustable, needs to be armed each time.

SPDiesel Shutdown Timer Time based, adjustable, doesn't need to be armed each time to use.

So tell me which you like.

Thanks

If you ask me, its cheaper just to sit and wait for the EGT to go down. Its hard to wait the extra time but it will drop. Just cut the A/C off and wait a minute or two and save $100 bucks or whatever it costs. That's the advice I got from this forum a while back. In the future I'm going to get an alarm with auto start and it has the turbo timer built in so I'll use it then since its there.
