I think I might have turbo surge it just dipped down in the upper 20s to 30s in the morning here. And when the truck is still warming up under maybe 1/4 throttle or so at 1500rpms it make shhhhhhhhhh sound then when you give it more gas it goes way. When it does it it starts to slow down a little bit sometimes it will do it at 55-60 if you let off then give it gas again. Is this is big deal?

sounds to me like your exhaust back pressure valve(ebpv) is just functioning as normal. it is a valve in the exhaust similar to an exhaust break, that closes in cool weather to warm up the truck faster. when you give it more throttle it opens for acceleration.

when I shut the truck off when it was warm then started it up a couple of minutes later it didn't do it again. And it only does it when its cold after it warms up a little bit it won't do it much.

how's your fuel milage. did you notice a lower mpg like i did. it's a hissing sound out of your exhaust right? does it do it a few times on idle when you first start the truck?

Thats what mine does.

If it IS that, then it is the EBPV as mentioned above. Theres nothing wrong w/ yer turbo.

I actually like it, I think it sounds kool:cool:
