I rarely "romp" my truck, since I don't have all the mods I want on it, yet. But, this weekend, while trying to catch up to some of they guys headed to the truck/tractor pulls, I definitely noticed some surge. My question is, will the future mods I have in mind (new intake, new exhaust, and a dp-tuner) help with this (guages are a given), or make it worse?:dunno
Or, will I need a new housing or WW? I'm not really ready to upgrade the turbo, unless it becomes a necessity.

:thanks
John

You are looking at a housing or WW. Housing is the better of the two, but more expensive.

OB NJ, land of traffic, stop lights, stop signs, a
its the only thing that will really help it unfortunally..... ive seen compressor wheels as low as 60 bux... but that was a non-sponser site/ local diesel shop.... i know ill be upgrading that soon but first the suspension needs some work...

More mods will cause more surge. The WW will help cure some of the surge. I have never had a hosuing so I have no comment on it. I now have a BB turbo and I can surge it if I want to.;)

Thanks, guys!
I guess I will have to add a WW to my "wish list". A new housing would be nice, but I've got to budget my mods, and I'm still dying to get the exhaust, intake, gauges, and in DP first!!:burnit :burnit :burnit
