Don't take this as the Gospel Rich, but from my exsperiences.. The Only difference between the IH 7.3 turbos, for commercailly rated trucks... and the Ford pick-ups turbos... Is the EBPV is/was required on the Ford 7.3's(EPA thing).

IRC.. back in the day, when the 7.3 was the only Ford dezel.. many were putting the Ford Van turbo's on.. if they could find one.. cuz it didn't have the EBPV.

For $150.00 bucks ? I'd Jump on it :dunno

If memory serves me right the IH trucks run a different exhaust manifold & up-pipe setup from the ford trucks.

well i went and got the 150 dollar turbo.its from a 99 ford.its all different :( even the center piece is different.the flange for the exhaust housing bolts is bigger on the IH turbo so i cant even bolt my exhaust housing to it.oh well was worth a try anyways.i can bring the turbo back and get the check back so its not like im loseing money on it or anything.
