Turbo flutter?

The Variable Vanes in the turbo are changing to keep the pressures in range. When you let off suddenly, you have excess pressure that has to go somewhere. The vanes change their position to keep this in order. There is some bleed of until the vanes get into their proper position and this is the flutter you hear. I did a poor job of explaining it...

it blows back into the intake, it usually will do it when it is cold or with a tuner pushing 30+ lbs of boost and let out quick.

It's a normal system function. They (we) all do it. ;):lmao
