Question tune up / driveline

Ok what would be a good tune up on a 2003 with the 7.3 diesel.. I have been doing the regular service's but was just wondering about the injector's any seal's etc.. How much play in the rubber isolator for the carrier bearing would anybody consider bad. I think that is where my vibration is coming from. The truck now has 151,600 mile on it.

a "tune up" at least in my mind is a series of preventative maint checks when it comes to these trucks as long as you are keeping up with routine maint like fluids & Filters most is just checking to see if it is a problem.

Things to check:

Glow plugs (resistance to ground)
Glow plug relay (voltage drop across large lugs)
u-joints
balljoints
steering rod ends
bearing play on front end

As far as play in the carrier bearing it will not create a vibration but will clunk on hard acceleration when the rubber is toast. you will be able to see visual breakage of the rubber if it is truly a problem.
