I have a 2000 F-250 with a 7.3. I have a problem with the truck stalling when the windshield wipers are on.

The truck stalls for an instant when you tap the single swipe on the turn signal lever it just skips a beat and sometimes when you are stopped with the wipers on, it dies at idle. Turn the key off and restart with no problem.

Anyone ever deal with this one???

when you restart it, does the problem continue, or does it correct itself?

The problem is intermittent. When it dies at idle, it occurs several times usually.

The missing a beat just happens when you tap the single swipoe for the wipers. It does not do it every time, though.

I was told that the injector driver was maybe getting water in a connector, but it does it when you first tap the button on the turn signal switch before the wipers have moved any water. Baffles me.

It will sometimes miss a beat when the button is pressed. Before the water is swept to anywhere. This is driving me nuts!...LOL

I'm thinking steering column too. Multi switch maybe starting to go bad. Mine would smoke now and then and make for strage things happen like dash lights flashing. I replaced it asap as I did not need a truck fire.
