Truck lifts and cost

It's Insane the cost of lifting trucks now. Don't get me wrong they look great and I like them. But I was looking at lifting my 04 and it a leaf spring set up and I'm looking at a good grand for the start. Tires are the same story there goes 1500 bucks fast.

I stopped at one of are dealers here to look at a 08 F-250 KR 4" lift on 35" tires and rims. Cost 66K on sale, thats more then my house. Note the dealer was charging 5K for the truck being lifted and 3K for tires and rims. Talk about markups.

The new lifts on the market are now called suspension systems and are more than a set of blocks like years ago. If you are looking or a good economical lift for your 04' check out Revtek. I installed a 4" on our 00' Excursion and was very happy with it for the price.
