TRUCK DIES WHILE DRIVING..TOTAL LOSS OF POWER

Hey guys whats up, here for the past few weeks, I'd be driving in my truck and all the sudden my truck completely shut down..the only thing I can compare it to..its like my truck was hit by an EMP " Electro Magnetic Pulse "..lol when it dies, I have %100 no power, all dash lights , headlights go completely out..and theres not even enough power to run my hazzard lights...but then Ill wait 10 to 15 min. then it will start after cranking it....help help help!!

If your lights are going out too, sounds like an electrical connection somewhere.
Check your battery connections. Ensure they are tight and not corroded.
Ensure the other ends are tight also.
Also, check your negative cable/ground. Make sure the point where it is bolted to the block is tight and not greasy & oily.

This could be a ground issue. I have found on some Sterlings that the ground cable attaches to the frame with a poly washer. These washers wear and the cable looses contact. The symptoms are exactly what yours sound like. We replaced the starter the first time it happened and it was fine for a few days, then happened again. Got looking a littlw more intense and found the ground loose.

Trace the negative battery cables from the batteries down to the point where they are grounded to the engine block and frame.
