Any links on how to remove the bed? Any special tools required?

Remove the fuel tank first, unplug the bed and remove the 6 bolts that hold it on. It should come off easy.

Thanks for the reply. The fuel tank is what I am trying to get too. What do you mean unplug the bed? Is there a main wiring harness disconnect under there? My truck does have the trailor towing option. THanks again.

I believe Dave is referring to the taillights and or ID marker if your truck has one. Dave do you have to drop tank, or just disconnect the filler tube?

Should not have to remove the tank. You should be able to just disconnect the filler and vent tubes. Now unless you have a full tank of fuel, I think it is probably easier to drop the tank than remove the bed if all you need is to get to the fuel tank. I've done it before with Bill watching.

Just disconnect the filler tubes ,unplug the wires at the back left hand corner of the bed , and remove the six bolts with a T55 bit that hold the bed down. It only takes 7 minutes to do it , we have done it alot.

Are you pulling the bed to harpoon the fuel tank? If not this would be a great time to do it.:thumbs :sweet
