Something was said in training today that I just have to share. I hope that its not too nerdy that some of you don't get it or I lose a little street credit. Basides, after all of this build up for it I hope its not a let down.
Anyway, I can't discuss the topic but the discussion of the derivation of a basis for creating a unit of a certain parameter was brought up ( I know that is a little vauge). A factor that makes the unit an easy number to use rather than something times ten raised to the something power( i.e a useless number). Are you still with me? Then the leader of training said this, "What I mean is its easier to use a five than 3.45x10^6. For example, 'Hey man, how many pieces of pizza did you eat?' 'Oh, I only ate 3x10^6 microslices.' See what I mean."
