i'm looking for a set od good traction bars to eliminate any axle wrap that i might get during next years sled pulls...i'm open to sugesstion, i dunno whats the best investment for my truck. i do work with it almost every day, but i also like to pull a few times during the season, i just beefed up my tranny and i am getting ready to order a new hpop for a lil extra boost...or should i just get some custom ones made?

To be honest, I've never seen a set of slapper bars for one of these, but that's what it sounds like you're looking for...

Around here a few guys that pull and drive their trucks daily use about 2 inch chrome moly tube from rear end to almost the back of cab. They have some kind of heim joint or other type of joint so it articulates well. If there is an offroad shop in your area they should be able to make one. Sorry JL but slappers are a little 60's ish.
