looks nice, now how do you use that thing? :dunno

i would have to go to school to understand it first.

:roflmao :roflmao

1. Pull out fuse and plug it into the fuse buddy.

2. Plug fuse buddy into the fuse panel where you removed the fuse.

3. Turn on whatever the fuse runs.

4. Read the digital readout to see how many amps are being drawn.

5. If you get a draw when you turn off the switch then you know why your battery keeps going dead.

Now school is out :) Time for a graduation party :party

I don't mean to sound negative but I think its more of a gimmick then anything else. If you are smart enough or have the knowledge to be able to troubleshoot a blown fuse or a parasitic draw (what bama described) then don't insult your own intelligence by buying the Fuse Buddy, look into getting a Mulitmeter; your ROI (return on investment) will be much higher.

And besides, the Fuse Buddy can only support up to 20 amps. Check your truck, how many circuits (fuses) do you have that have more then a 20 amp fuse? If you had enough current to blow the fuse I can guarantee you that you have more then 20 amps going through the circuit. What is going to happen tot he Fuse Buddy? Congratulations, you now have a Paper Weight Buddy.

BushPilot, I hope you don't think I am bashing this product (although by now it probably sounds like it). I do like the idea of the DMM adapters and even those would only come in handy if you do a lot of electrical troubleshooting. I just believe in the proper tool for the job.

May I recommend something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Fluke-115-TRMS-Digital-Multimeter/dp/B000IZDXK6

I realize there are other (read: cheaper) mulitimeters out there but I really like the quality of the Flukes.... nothing more frustrating when troubleshooting something and getting a false reading from your mulitimeter. I speak form experience (cough bluepoint cough)
