Tie rod / drag link ?

does anybody know if the steering linkage is the same on 2wd and 4wd drive models? I went to the local auto parts store and they don't have what they call the "passanger inner tie rod end" for an 2004 6.0 f350 4wd but they do have for a 2wd model. Is there a difference? Also if anybody has a link to where i can get a "kit" with all the linkage let me know. Thanks

I assume your talking about the one off the pitman arm...

NAPA (Never Any Parts Available ~ guy that works at local NAPA store) part number DS1438 (which I think is the same part number as MOOG)

should run you about $70.

yeah that's the one, but at my local parts store they only have it listed for 2wd and the other 3 "rod ends" are for both 2 and 4wd applications. I don't want to have them order it and it be wrong.
