ok this is wierd and i never noticed till about a month ago.i have a mechanical autometer oil pressure gauge on my dash.well its ticking.it ticks down.the tick when warm looks like a second hand on a clock.seems to tick back about a second.its very rythmic like its doing it when an injector is fireing.well today i start it up and take right off with it.oil pressure at 90PSI and its ticking down to about 80PSI  my oil is full.i know it needs to be changed.what would cause this?could it be a bad injector oring?considering the skip that i have that i cant seem to track down.and the tick seems to follow the pattern of an injector fireing.

Hmmm....the injectors wouldn't affect the LPO side of the system in my thinking. If you tapped in closer to the HPOP maybe and injector issue.

Do you think it could have to do with the modded front cover?
