I was in Boone NC. on sat. and had to make my own roads in the snow the plows were not out. That was nuts 27" in 12 hours with winds getting up to 45 to 50 knots. I got to the hotel and and was happy for that. The truck was a champ and the big, wide tires were great. Then........ I had to deal with the ice storm that hit Thursday night at the cabin in Seven Devils, NC. Me and my brother in-law had to cut a path down the road for about a mile Friday mourning. You guys are going to love the pics I'll post. There was a rescue I did for a guy. A fellow PSD owner. His 89 year old mother was stuck in her house on the mountain with what look to be about 30" to 36" snow and ice, the local police could not get to her in there Chevy trucks. I was able to get to the house and take them and EMS too, Are cabin and hers had no heat for 24 hours. The big reason for EMS. It was a good vacation despite the goofy weather. I'll get the photos on sunday or monday.;tu

i can second the "that was nuts" theme....

i am finally back to being a normal human being after pretty much plowing since wednesday.....

we had 8-10" then another 4+fell and then and then it started to rain HEAVY for about 4 hours and rain off and on throughout the day.....

can i just say HOLY shizit batman.....did that screw up the plowing......pushing that much heavy snow you were lucky to get to the other end of the lot and you did not even have to hit the brake, truck just came to a stop.....MAN DO WE HAVE FROZEN SNOW PILES......

DOG: good for you for helping where and when you could...
