THEFT, THEFT Flashing - No Start

All, I was working under the hood for 4 hours last night installing the HP-X. test drove it last night a couple of times. This morning went to the store left it running used the keypad to lock and unlock it. On the way home the door ajar light came on and I thought one wasn't shut all the way. Got home and went to start it later and the Theft light would flash quickly and no start. The only other time this has happened was when I installed the 1705 SCMT. I would then re-install it and it would work. I am afraid to try that since this did not happen during a install.

Is there a alarm switch/trigger under the hood? Where? how can I test it?

How can you reset the alarm? Can it be disabled?

Could this happen from low voltage? I have 12.5V before start, turns over good. I added distilled water to some cells in the batteries and charged them afterwards.

I unhooked the batteries and going to charge them and try to let the alarm reset.

Please help!!! The X is DEAD

After disconnecting and charging both batteries for several. It started. Don't know if it was low batteries or what. I am going to have the batteries checked tomorrow. I will post what was finally done.

Kool...........give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes in the morning in case you have to jump start it.

this is what I posted in General since I have it running

All, on the way home the X had the door ajar light come on. I thought one wasn't shut all the way. When I got home it would not start again, I had a P238, P1260,P475, P541 Codes and the Theft light would flash quickly. After some research I removed the batteries and charged them for several hours and let everything in the truck reset, it started. The batteries were at 12.5v when I started having problems and are at 12.6v now. The alt. is putting out between 12.9v on full load, 14.3v with everything off. Now, I don't know what the problem ever was . I will have someone test the batteries tomorrow.

Today I am upto 12.75v at the batteries while it is shut off, it runs fine but I am still cautious. I am still looking for the culprit.
