she pulled like it was an empty open trailer back there, wanted to go faster but i kept pulling the reins back, that engine really likes 2500-3000 rpm, it will flat pull.
it would slip down one gear on the hardest grades and just keep on keepin on, no smoke just go go go, passed several CTD equipped durdges pulling lesser trailers, which made me :D :D :D

I have a 2005 F-350 KingRanch CC Dually TowBoss with a Cedar Creek 34rlts.
Last time I weighed GCVW 23000 even. you gotta love the way that Ford pulls.

yep your pretty heavy as well. I need to go weigh the truck alone, I have added two huge tool boxes and they are FULL. I think i am in the 8500-9000 range just truck

but i am so impressed with the 430 gears and wide power band, this puppy just kept going, I ran with cruise on 80% of the run, till we hit the mountains here in north bama, then i let it pick a speed it liked going up.
one hill we dropped into 3rd and hit 45 mph at the top but it was a steep climb of 600 feet.

Ford did a good job with this gear combo and tranny programming, the downshifts are not jerky. they engage like everything is in unison,
:sweet :sweet .
the power at 2500 rpm is incredible,
i will quit gloating now:D

was that just you and an empty truck with no boxes

OH S@@t that means
that i am probably closer to 10k with full fuel and my 230 pound tail sitting in it, no wonder she rides smooth

one of my concerns is I am very close to the front axle weight rating :(

WOW, you were not kidding about your pin weight in your other thread! You can see she is squatin' a little in the back. I am not too familier with 5th wheels, don't they have any kinda way to shift some of the weight back like on my bumper pulled trailer that has weight distribution bars?

Almost forgot, I love the 'shak'. That is sweet!
